ATALAY: WINTER GAMES HAS OPENED THE DOORS FOR OLYMPICS
-Director General of Press Ad Agency Mehmet Atalay,2011 WU has opened the doors of olympics.Speaking at the conference Mr.Atalay said that Turkey has hosted mojor sports organisations like Formula1, WorldBasketballChampionships, UniversiadeSummerGames in the recent years.

NO OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE NO ORGANIZATION
Mr.Atalay reminded that countries not helding any organisation then has no chance of hosting any olypics nor championships.’’Since 2003 we have hosted many organisations and we have been successful in all of them.This organisations has brought us both Summer and Winter Universiades.Our next target is summer and winter olympics.Also Europe and World Championships. In the past,those who thinkTurkeycan not dothiskind oforganizations have now offer us to host organisations.This shows Turkey’s tallent on this issue.Investing approximately600 million TL, Erzurum has becomean importantcenter ofwintertourism.From now on Erzurum and surrounding provinces will become an ambitious for winter tourism.From now and onwards Erzurum has to promote the city to tourists and athletes in the best way.When hotels are built and the infrastructure gets completed then Erzurum can host the winter olympics in the near future.’’
SUCCESSFUL ATHLETES WILL BE TRAINED IN ERZURUM We wont have gold medal in 2011 WU because up to this time we did not have any of these facilities.The only successful athlete we had was Tuğba Karademir,but then again she had to move to Canada because of no excisting facilities.So I think from now on Erzurum will train many successful athletes with these new built facilities.Participant of the conference were Vice-GovernorHakan Şen,Deputy Mayor Eyüp Tavlaşoğlu,Provincial Secretary General Selami Altınok,Founder of Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof.Dr. Muammer Yaylalı,Ağrı University Rector Prof.Dr. İrfan Aslan,Erzurum Commodity Exchange President Hakkı Hınıslıoğlu,East Anatolian Journalists Association Chairman Feridun Fazıl Özsoy and many invited guest.At the end of the conference plate was presented to Mr.Atalay on behalf of MUSIAD Chairman (Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association).
