THOUSANDS OF SYRIANS FLEE GOVERNMENT VIOLENCE TO TURKEY
The number of Syrian citizens fleeing to Turkey to escape unrest in Syria has reached three thousand as the Syrian government launched a man hunt in the city of Jisr al-Shughour in a crackdown of anti-government protesters. Witnesses say scores have been killed by fire of the secret police.

ISTANBUL SUMMER EXHIBITION OPENS
The first edition of the Istanbul Summer Exhibition -- an event of contemporary art supported by the Royal Academy -- opened on Friday at Istanbul's Karakoy Arts Port. The exhibition is sponsored by Time Out Istanbul and Beyaz Art. The event will stay open till July 15.

TURKISH PREMIER CRITICIZES SYRIA'S ASSAD OVER VIOLENCE AGAINST CIVILIANS
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan severely criticized Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad as the Syrian government escalates violence against civilians. "This is brutality. The things we have seen cannot be condoned," Erdogan has told a televised interview. Erdogan's reaction came after a video footage hit video sharing websites, showing a Syrian woman shot by two snipers during a protest. The video footage on Youtube shows two men trying to drag the wounded woman out of the line of fire. "These images are just very sad. The Syrian government is not acting humanely," Erdogan said.

TURKEY'S AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTION UP 14 PERCENT IN FIRST FIBE MONTHS OF 2011
Record high growth in domestic demand boosted production in automotive sector in Turkey in the first five months of this year as manufacture went up by 14 percent to reach 507,000. The exports of motor vehicles were also up to 7.8 billion USD over the same period in 2010.

KILLING MACHINES
The 4th division, the most remorseless unit of Syrian army, moves swiftly towards Jisr al-Shughour city by raining bombs on people in the villages. People continue to escape to Turkey being afraid of massacre. Special troops going to the town of Jisr al-Shughour march burning the villages on their way. According to an 60 year-old Syrian, the troops open fire on everybody whoever they meet.

SPEAKING IS BANNED
As number of those who escaped from Syria exceeded 3,000, a second camp was established. There are mostly women and children in camps in Yayladagi town.
The camp in Altinozu is overwhelmingly men. Speaking with the refugees is forbidden. Police does not allow them to speak even if they want to. Two babies were born in the camp. One of them is named Recep Tayyip.

PREPARATION FOR BUFFER ZONE
Turkey will set up buffer zone if inflow of migration from Syria exceeds 10,000.
Ankara is in contact with the United Nations and the Council of Europe in order not to shoulder this burden on its own. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Al-Assad family does not act humanely. "We can not remain indifferent any more to developments. Good relations can not continue forever." President Abdullah Gul said Turkey was ready for the worst scenario.

ELECTIONS OF FIRSTS
Turkey will vote for its next four years on Sunday. Two-month election campaign was a scene to many new things.

-Justice & Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited 68 provinces and 1.2 million people attended election rallies of AK Party.
-Republican People's Party (CHP) had 300 rallies for the first time with Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
-Kilicdaroglu, who preferred plane, flew 68,000 km whereas Erdogan flew 46,000 km.
-Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahceli visited 57 provinces. Bahceli had only 19 rallies in 2007.

ESCAPE FROM MAHER
Maher al-Assad, brother of Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, entered the town of Jisr al-Shughour with 15,000 troops. Thousands of people are waiting at the border with Turkey. The troops which entered the town with around 100 tanks, opened fire on everything. At least 21 people were killed. Syria cut all connections of the region with the whole world. According to witnesses, state hospitals do not treat those injured. Number of those who escaped from town of Jisr al-Shughour and came to camp in Yayladagi, Turkey, reached 3,000. Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said 90 percent of those in the camps were children and women.

DEATH FULL OF BOTTLES
Police stepped up controls after death of four Russian tourist guides because of alcohol poisoning. The police raided a manufacturing shop in Karabaglar district in the Aegean province of Izmir on Friday and arrested four people. Police impounded 876 bottles of false whisky and vodka, 200 kilograms of ethyl alcohol and false tax labels.

Maher al-Assad, the top responsible of massacre in Syria, kills people without discriminating women and children and pulls the bodies into pieces. Maher Al-Assad, the brother of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, personally commands the 4th division, which includes the strike troops of the army. He is responsible for the savagery in the country. He orders opening of fire on civilians and torture against them. He also commands the operation in the town of Jisr al-Shughour, which is near Turkish border.

NEIGHBOR PUTS EVERYTHING UP FOR SALE
Greek government will privatize everything, including the ports, airports, banks, and motorways till 2015 in order not to go to bankruptcy. The target of the Greek government is to collect 50 billion euro through privatization. 100 billion euro will come from the European Union (EU) if they achieve the target.

ERDOGAN BURNS DOWN BRIDGES WITH ASSAD
Turkish Premier severely criticized the Syria for violence against civilian anti-government protesters, saying that Turkey "cannot remain silent" to incidents there. "The Assad family is not acting humanely. They are killing our brothers and they have their photos taken next to the bodies. Good relations does not last forever," Erdogan said.

MAIN OPPOSITION VOWS NEW CONSTITUTION IN EU STANDARDS
Leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party Kemal Kilicdaroglu promised a new constitution that would comply with European Union standards. "Universities will be more autonomous. The new constitution will limit legislative immunities in line with EU norms. We will abolish courts of special authority," he said.

Turkey which brought the coup supporters before court with 58 percent of "yes" votes, will once gain go through democracy examination on Sunday. The voter will make a choice among Justice & Development (AK) Party promising a new constitution and freedom; the Republican People's Party (CHP) which remained behind the winds of Ergenekon and its ally Peace & Democracy Party (BDP) which resurrected Inonu fascism and its deep partner Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan responded strongly to Syrian administration which attacked civilians. He said, "I talked to Bashar al-Assad 4-5 days ago. He tells different things to us. Particularly, Maher Assad does not act humanly."

SYRIANS FLOWING INTO TURKEY TO ESCAPE UNREST
Syrian army's latest push into the city of Jisr al-Shughour to crush anti-government protests has forced civilians to flee the unrest to Turkey as their numbers reach 4,000 since last Wednesday.

EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT CALLS FOR "DEMOCRATIC CONSTITUTION" IN TURKEY
The European Parliament has called Turkey to make a new and a democratic constitution. The call came ahead of June 12 general elections as EP Turkey Friendship Group Chairman Aljz Peterle said the new constitution should guarantee right and freedoms of all Turkish citizens. "Cooperation will be needed after the elections for a new civilian constitution that would prioritize basic rights and freedoms," Peterle said.
