AKBANK JAZZ FESTIVAL TO BEGIN IN OCTOBER
Akbank Jazz Festival will be held between October 13 and November 3.Akbank Art Director Derya Bigali said that different styles from American jazz to Scandinavian jazz, from Balkan music to Middle East ethnical music, and from swing to electronic jazz would be performed during the festival.

Akbank Jazz Festival will be held between October 13 and November 3.
Akbank Art Director Derya Bigali said that different styles from American jazz to Scandinavian jazz, from Balkan music to Middle East ethnical music, and from swing to electronic jazz would be performed during the festival.
Besides Istanbul, we will organize concerts in 10 other provinces within the scope of the festival, said Bigali, adding that also concerts would take place in 14 universities.
Noting that more than 150 musicians would take stage in 27 different places during the festival, Bigali said that besides 53 concerts, there would be panel discussions and workshops too.
Arlid Andersen Trio, Maffy Falay Sextet, Arto Tuncboyaciyan's 1to3, Dusko Goykovich Quartet, Charles Llyod New Quartet and Avishai Cohen as well as Imer Demirer, Ilhan Ersahin, Kerem Gorsev, Vijay Iyer, Ray Gelato, Club des Belugas Featuring Brenda Boykin, ZAZ, Azam Ali, Carmen Souza and Esra Dalfidan are among the musicians and groups to take stage during the festival.
