31ST EURASIAN USTANBUL MARATHONE WAS RUN..
31st Eurasia Marathone was run in Istanbul on 18th October 2009 and Ethopian athletes got the first places. The competition was won by Ethopian Kasime Adilo Roba (2.12.14) in mens category and Ethopian Bizunesh Urgesa (2.13.32) in womens category.

The Istanbul Eurasia Marathon starts from the Anatolian side of Istanbul, and ends at the European side, taking the runners to the most beautiful spots of town, signing its name under a touristic attraction as well. Thousands of runners (including ones from the public) participate the contest every year and millions of dollars of are distributed to winners.
Tens of thousands of people particiapted in the run and inhabitants of İstanbul gave them a big applaude all along the track.
The contest was broadcasted live and millions of spectators all around the world had the opportunity to see beautiful sights from the megapole.
